When Your Relationship Feels Stuck, Make Space for Something to Change

Weekend Couples Therapy Intensives

Sometimes, the conversations that matter most are the hardest to have. You may find yourselves circling the same arguments, struggling to recover from a breach of trust, or wondering what comes next for your relationship. And when you're only able to work on these things in short stretches, it can feel difficult to build momentum.

Weekend intensives offer dedicated time and space to slow down, understand what's happening beneath the surface, and begin moving toward greater clarity and connection.

A Different Way to Do the Work

Traditional weekly therapy isn't the right format for every couple or every season of life. Weekend intensives provide six to eight hours of focused therapeutic work across two days, allowing us to spend more sustained time with the issues that matter most to you.

Rather than repeatedly returning to difficult conversations, we can work with greater continuity, explore familiar patterns in more depth, and begin practicing new ways of relating.

When Might a Weekend Intensive Help?

An intensive may be worth considering if you:

  • Feel caught in recurring arguments or patterns of disconnection

  • Are navigating a betrayal or rupture in trust

  • Are facing a significant decision about the future of your relationship

  • Are navigating a gender transition or reconsidering your relationship structure

  • Feel that weekly sessions haven't provided enough time or continuity

  • Have limited weekday availability but can dedicate time to focused therapeutic work over a weekend

What We'll Work Toward

Together, we'll explore what matters most to each of you, including the experiences and patterns that have shaped your relationship. We'll make space for difficult emotions and differing perspectives while identifying opportunities for more honest communication, deeper understanding, and meaningful change.

Depending on your circumstances and goals, our work may include repairing trust, navigating differences in desire or expectations, exploring relationship transitions, or finding greater clarity about the path ahead.

The process is collaborative and tailored to your needs. We won't assume that every relationship needs the same outcome; we'll work to understand what moving forward means for you.

A Thoughtful, Collaborative Approach

I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist in California and Oregon and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. My work centers on the ways we relate to ourselves and one another, particularly when intimacy, trust, or connection becomes difficult. I aim to create a space where challenging conversations can happen with care and honesty, and where each person has the opportunity to be understood.

I offer affirming care for diverse identities and relationship structures.

Let's Explore Whether an Intensive Is Right for You

Reaching out doesn't mean you need to have the answers or know exactly what comes next. It can simply be a first conversation about what you're experiencing, what you're hoping for, and whether a weekend intensive is a good fit.
